Dr. Najmaei received his PhD in materials science and engineering from Rice University in 2015. His research focused on understanding the 2D material growth, defects formations, and interfaces. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at US Army Research Laboratories and a visiting researcher at Professor Franklin’s group. His current research focuses on understanding the role of defects and interfaces in the electronic transport and device properties of 2D materials.
